We all know that being sedentary is not beneficial for our bodies or our health. Isaac Newton’s law, “A body in motion stays in motion,” holds true for all of us. Exercise is intentional, purposeful, structured movement with the intention of increasing your fitness level. We are all not the same, or have the same specific goals, so your workouts might have to be a little different than your sister’s or your neighbor’s. We all need a combination of strength and cardiovascular exercise. What’s important is that you do something you like. For example, if you hate running, then you probably won’t stick with it, so running shouldn’t be your first choice.
